Yay for INSET day! :D
I’m so looking forward to today, for a few reasons.

1 – It’s Friday. Normally the last school day of the week.
Meaning that coming up are two lovely days of spending time with my little people without interruption, agenda, need to be anywhere, and enjoy each other’s company.
Wonderful.
2 – Know what makes this weekend even better? It’s LONGER than usual. INSET day at school means that the tallest little person is home for an extra day. YAY!

3 – The fact that the sun is shining means we can play out a little, get some fresh air, and really blow away the cobwebs. Hurrah! It’s still rather cold though so EVEN BETTER STILL we get to show off our uber cool crocheted woolly nonsense. YES.
4 – Possibly the most important news of the month:
**BREAKING NEWS**
Watfing is no longer MIA!!!!!!!!!
HURRAH!!!! I’ve checked the every room in the house, the nooks, the crannies, the cupboards, the boxes…. I finally found the one place on earth you can hide a stuffed toy where I haven’t already spent a week looking! Wanna know where?!? Behind the washing machine.
-_-

[This is Watfing’s distant cousin. Whilst I don’t mind admitting that our home is lived in rather than sterile, there is no way I’m publishing a photo of Watfing in the state he was in. So this impostor will have to take WF’s place until a photo of the Fing himself can be taken. 😉 ]
Covered in filth of more descriptions than I can count. The mind boggles. The Boy needs a medal for this particular game of hide and seek, since even a tiny child would have a struggle accessing the back of the washing machine considering the way the kitchen is designed. Sigh. He is currently in the machine, de-filthing. I’m sure The Boy will have him craptastic again within seconds of their reunion. Cos only a kid can love a muck and smell covered creature more than a clean one. Bigger sigh.
Bad part about today? Hurty hands kinda day means I need to start by limbering up those fingers on crocheting something big quick and easy. Fine work is not on the agenda today. Boooooo.Upside??

I’m already wearing my support gloves and those are disguised by the very gorgeous owly gloves gifted to me by my lovely friend Karen (as if I need an excuse to wear them 😉 :
I’m looking forward to making “Tater Hash” later. The comfort food of kings, queens and Mumblers. Yum.
