Unable to Sleep
The bad part about insomnia is the not sleeping. It’s the bit where you want to sleep with all your might. Because sleep is delicious, replenishing, wonderful. Because your whole body is heavy and aching to float away on a peaceful slumbering cloud.
Being awake when you crave sleep sucks.
Crocheting helps.
It helps you not punch the bugger next to you whose snoring is probably causing a tsunami somewhere in Asia, in the temple.
It helps focus your over tired brain.
It offers mindless repetition.
Its a fairly essential skill for keeping yourself sane…. in the loosest sense of the word 😉 we all know I’m not going to pass for normal any time soon 😉 lol.
The best part is discovering that I do my very best thinking at 3am. Sometimes my tactical, problem solving methodical thinking solves that issue thats been bugging me… sometimes my creativity comes out to play and if im organised enough to have a pencil to hand I can sketch out amazing things. Words. Hats. Music.
