How Much is Shipping?
I try to get the best price I can for shipping, depending on the size of your order. This may involve sending via the postal service or via courier. I always send the item tracked to protect both the buyer and myself. I’m based in Ireland, but ship worldwide. My hats are currently wandering around in over 50 countries!
Do you use patterns to make your items?
I can follow patterns, but try not to. If another designer’s pattern has been used in whole or part, the designer is ALWAYS credited.
Are your designs available as patterns?
Patterns take a huge amount of work, from writing to testing and producing, so take a while to come about. Any of my patterns that are available currently are here on Ravelry.
Who Made My Item?
All items are constructed entirely by myself, MumblesMummy, aka Beth. On occasion, I do collaborate with other artists. In this event, all parties responsible for the creation are credited.
What environment is my item made in?
All items are made in a clean, tobacco free home in rural Ireland. We do have open fires here, but the smoke usually goes up the chimney 😉
What do you mean, One of a Kind (OOAK)?
Each item I create is made by hand from scratch. This means that each one will be unique. Even two items of the same design won’t be exactly the same. (Although I can get them really really close if you’d prefer that 😉 )
Handmade?
Crocheted items purchased from MumblesMummy are entirely handmade by one woman with a wooden stick. Although some elements such as machine made buttons or embellishments may be used for safety reasons, it’s actually impossible to machine crochet anything.

How do I Order?
Placing an order for a Ready Made item couldn’t be easier. Choose what you want from the Handmade store here, complete the checkout process, and I do the rest! If you have specific needs or requests, enter them in the comments and make sure you leave an email I can contact you on if I have questions. 😉
