Cute Giraffe

Don’t look for the first installment. My website ate it. I’m not sure why, but it seems that it must have been delicious. So anyway, the last few days have all been about this guy:

He’s a cute little guy, and fell out of my pencil a while ago whilst enjoying our home-ed art class with my children. He was supposed to be an octopus. However, he didn’t want to be one, and tadaaaaaaaaaaa, there he suddenly was, looking up at me with those outrageous eyelashes and silly multi coloured spots.

Once I inked up the line drawing, I took to my computer to experiment with some colours. Of course, I can’t possibly stick to only ONE option, now, can I? So suddenly there were a whole herd of them, in a range of rainbow colours. ‘cos who doesn’t love rainbows?

This week, I have just added the finishing touches to a chart pattern for this gorgeous giraffe. It’s a great image to use to craft a perfect gift for a new baby or just someone who is nuts about giraffes!
