For a Dear Friend.
As of yet, we’ve not met in person….
But this lady has played a major part in me recovering from the terrible times of the last 12 months. She’s such a sunny, kind, wonderful lady, always with time to talk, despite her inordinately busy schedule, and never without losing that sunshine from her manner.
Over the time I’ve known her, which has not been especially long, I have seen, in her, all that is right with the world. The best facet of humanity. There should be more people like this lady walking the planet. A few days ago she experienced a loss so great as to make her sad. 🙁 This might not appear much to a stranger, and despite her stoicism, and refusal to be any less wonderful, there was, to those who cared enough to notice, a void.
The reason I’m telling you this story is to simply identify that unspoken, and often unnoticed truth, that everyone around you has their own difficulties to deal with. And to acknowledge a single, generous soul for the value they hold in the lives of others, to help them through their own times of sadness. Best Love. x
