It’s RAININGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
And you know what that means?!
SINGING AND DANCING IN THE RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup I’m crazy. By most people’s standards anyway. Aaaand I don’t care. 😀
I love the rain because:

Ducks love rain and ducks are hilarious and epic. And have huge rubber-lookin’ webbed feet. More about that some other time.
As if that were not reason enough, I can continue:
I spent 10 months waterproofing each of my babies, soooo why not let them test it out? Tripe-y fingers FOR. THE. WIN.
Contrary to popular belief I do not melt when exposed to water (although I ROCK my sparkly red shoes 😉 )
My asthma/allergies/random collection of ailments are not triggered by rain.
99% of outdoor workmen can be sweet talked into dancing in the rain with you. Or will at least laugh whilst you do it. Which is gigglicious.
Rain + the paths near where I live = PUDDLES! (and puddles are hilarious and epic).
Most people are shocked and horrified when they notice my kids jumping in puddles (ideally up to waist height for maximum effect). My response? To laugh and then jump right in there with them!

My kids love the rain as much as I do and think it’s the funnest thing ever to be allowed to play out and get drenched, without getting into trouble. (I know right? A cool Ma, imagine that?!)
After getting drenched? Perfect excuse for a nice long warm bubbly bath, snuggly dressing gowns and hot drinks until the little people fall asleep cuggling with me under blankets on the sofa. Bliss. xx
